Capacity Teacher led discussion on the relationship between volume and capacity. 1mL is 1 cm3 therefore 1Litre is 1000cm3 you can visualise this as a 10cm x 10cm x 10cm cube Also for water, 1Litre weighs 1kg.

Volume and Capacity problems
- Cut out diagrams and problems.
- Pair students (native with non-native speaker). Students identify which diagram belongs to each problem. They then transfer key measurements to the diagrams and work out the answer.
