| Pair students (native speakers with non-native). Give out smaller rectangles of paper, trapezium, circle, scissors and glue. Students write an explanation of how the formula can be developed with cuts. The explanation that is on the board can be used as a model if needed. Students paste their shapes and explanations in their books.

| Vocab List
- Students scan their vocab list and look for words that they have seen in today's lesson. Can they improve their definition? Give students 3-4 minutes to discuss with partner. Students complete the After column with their new definition.
