New series of Connected and He Kōrero Tātai resources on their way!

Connected Level 2: Ki te hoe! – Let’s get going!

Te Poutāhū is excited to launch a new series of Connected that supports Aotearoa New Zealand’s histories and Te Takanga o Te Wā.

The series now includes He Kōrero Tātai – books developed in te reo Māori and to support Te Takanga o Te Wā in Te Marautanga o Aotearoa. He Kōrero Tātai is not a translation of Connected. It features articles on the same theme written by Māori authors from around the motu.

The series contains a variety of stories and articles that will engage students and support their reading development. In addition to the printed books, the material is available online. Each book features Google slides of the text, teacher support materials (TSM), audio, and additional digital content for one of the articles in each book.

The titles for the first set of books are:

Connected

He Kōrero Tātai

Each school will receive class sets of Connected and each kura will receive class sets of He Kōrero Tātai. Schools and kura can order more copies of either publication from Down the Back of the Chair

There is more information about Connected on the Instructional Series website and information on He Kōrero Tātai at Kauwhata Reo. These resources can also be found on the Aotearoa New Zealand’s histories website

Physical copies will be distributed during May and June.
